Caring Heart Adult Services provides a full suite of care programs to support independence at every stage of life.
Medicaid-funded program that lets you hire a trusted friend or family member to provide your personal care at home. We handle all the paperwork, payroll, and compliance.

Consumer Directed Services
CDS is a Missouri Medicaid program that allows eligible individuals to hire a trusted person — even a family member — as their paid personal care attendant.
We help you confirm you meet Missouri Medicaid (MO HealthNet) requirements and connect you with DHSS for your free in-home assessment.
DHSS works with you to create a personalized care plan that outlines your authorized hours and approved services based on your specific needs.
You select the person you trust — a friend, adult child, or community member. CHAS runs all required background checks through the Family Care Safety Registry.
CHAS processes payroll, files taxes, manages EVV compliance, and handles all Medicaid billing. You focus on receiving care. We handle the administration.
CDS is completely free to eligible participants. Medicaid covers all costs.

To participate in the Consumer Directed Services or Adult Day Care program, you must meet the following criteria set by Missouri's Department of Health and Senior Services.
Payment accepted: Missouri Medicaid, private insurance, and private pay.

Licensed by the State of Missouri as a health-care provider for aged and disabled individuals. Also certified by the Veterans Administration.
Adult Day Care
Our Adult Day Care program provides personalized care, supervision, activities, and socialization tailored to each individual participant.
Balanced meals and snacks as specified in each individual's care plan, prepared to meet dietary needs.
Engaging, age-appropriate social and recreational programming to promote mental and emotional wellbeing.
Transportation services to and from the center as specified in the individual's care plan.
Hands-on assistance with activities of daily living including grooming, hygiene, and mobility as needed.
On-site nursing oversight and health monitoring as specified in each participant's individualized plan of care.
Community connection and peer interaction to reduce isolation and support emotional health and dignity.
